These handmade trivets combine natural cork with a smooth earthenware tile and made in Portugal where the cork is harvested, by hand, from cork oak trees every 9 years without felling the trees, allowing the cork to regrow.
After harvesting, cork continues to absorb CO2, even as one of our cork products which look good in your home, while allowing wildlife livingin the cork oak trees to keep theirs.
