About
The idea for the Our Precious Earth zero-waste shop came during one of Keith’s regular beach cleans. After discovering a lot of waste plastic, he decided he wanted to help consumers change their shopping habits.
As well as running Our Precious Earth, Keith is a dedicated conservator and a Litter Heroes Ambassador for Keep Britain Tidy, through which he educates and encourages others to reduce litter and other waste.

Our Precious Earth Zero-waste Shop
‘Our Precious Earth’ is a retail shop offering a wide range of sustainable, zero-waste household goods, toiletries and gift ideas. We are dedicated to helping our environment and also encourage the community to join in with litter picks and beach clean events while educating everyone how easy it is to make a difference.
During the setting up of the business, sustainability has also been important. The paint is by Little Greene (the most eco friendly brand). Flooring – the eco underlay is manufactured in the UK from a high content of recycled vehicle tyres with the floor covering being Sisal – a natural and sustainable product.
The shop fittings are also sustainable, using wooden fruit crates, end of life scaffold boards and upcycled wood.
Even the business cards are printed on seeded paper using eco-friendly inks.
