Our Precious Earth continues its mission to make a difference. Along with organising regular clean up events, we like to promote our small business at events including The Plastic Free Gathering 2025 in Birmingham City Centre, a one-day event which promises to be an informative day for everyone who wants to meet others who care about our environment. There are plenty of speakers throughout the day along with breakout sessions. Hope to see some of you there.
Another event I’m sponsoring is a local showing of David Attenborough’s film, OCEAN. Unfortunately, when it was released in May this year, there weren’t any local screenings and I wasn’t available to travel further on other days where it was on further afield. I approached The Regal Theatre Film Society asking if I could pay towards the cost of screening it which they were happy to do. Along with Peter Hoyland from Plastic Free Exmoor, we will give a short introduction to the evening and there will be a chance for patrons to join in with a Q & A session afterwards. Hopefully, it will be a ‘House Full’ on the evening.
