Our Precious Earth has just celebrated it’s first birthday! After being selected as one of the nation’s top 100 small businesses of 2023 by Small Business Britain, it was also a winner of Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday. The success continues with Our Precious Earth being announced as finalists for the Somerset Business Awards 2024 ‘Start-Up of the Year Award’ and Biz Bubble ‘Best New Biz on the Block’ award. Business owner Keith Hunt says “I’m very proud to gain so much recognition, especially in the first year! I am lucky to have so many regular customers who love coming in and see what’s new and how much plastic I’ve removed from the beach each day.” Keith added, “I didn’t start my business until the age of 64 and will certainly keep me busy in my retirement knowing I’m continuing a mission I started at the age of 12!”
